What is doing well at the moment?

Not all opportunities are created equal and not all remain as good as they were when they first started.

Today I would like to give you some feedback as to what is working for me at the moment. Please note that this often change. So if you read this article long after 22 May 2009 please see if you can find a more recent update on my blog.

Also note that the comments below is my own personal views. If I do not like a certain business or I do not make money from it does not mean that you won’t succeed in it as well. Please do your own due diligence. We are not all equal, what works for me might not work for you and vica versa. I am also not offering you any financial advice, I merely tell you what works for me and what not.

The good ones:

On the MLM side I still see good growth in Be Motivated Today, ICI and U-Care.

Be Motivated shows the best growth at the moment. If I look at my effort to return ration BMT is one of the best MLMs I ever joined. They now increased their commission which pushed a lot of people into a profit situation. If you are new to the game I suggest you go with BMT.

ICI is the stable daddy of my MLM portfolio. The people love the product (shares) and the company has been listed on the JSE for many years now.

My U-Care growth slowed down a bit but I can still not complain. I think it is due to so many new offers being on the market.

Others:

Forex – I have been playing around with Forex Trading for some time now. I made a couple of dollars here and there and in fact up to now I earned more from Forex Based affiliate programs than from Forex Trading itself. BUT lately new technology emerged which made Forex Trading Robots available to the general public. This is very excited. I bought and tested three of these robots with outstanding results. Read the post I made at

http://www.freeforex.net/blog/does-forex-trading-robots-really-work/ . If you have the money I see this as a good option. But you need to be patient and willing to learn more about the forex market. I know they all say you can profit without knowing anything, my opinion is that you must at least have a basic knowledge of forex trading. You can get some free articles and ebooks at FreeForex.net on this subject.

Adsense -  This remains my favorite.  I do not have to sell anything or recruit anybody to make money, the visitor just have to click the ad and I’m in the money.  With the global “recession” I could see that people did not spend that much on advertising.  My earnings remained stable for the past 6 months but I added lots of pages to my web sites and generated much more traffic. Thus if my income remained the same with more traffic it actually means that I was not doing as well as six months back. But the past two weeks I have seen an increase in earnings again. Adsense is still earnings me about 30% of my total income and I am sure the slight drop in performance is due to the economy.

Affiliate Marketing – The previous two months were very good. Offeforge had a PSG pay per impression campaign in March and April. Because of some high traffic sites of mine I earned a rather good income from this. With these affiliate marketing companies you must regularly look at the available campaigns. What is good today is not good tomorrow. A year ago I constantly earned very well on OUTsurance, today I do not even earn 20% of what i earned a year ago on that campaign. But I earn very well on others. So look around and try new campaigns. Remember to look for products that is in demand and which pays good. At TrafficSynergy BondPro remains my best campaign.

Clickbank – On the ClickBank side of things the Forex Auto Trade Robots did the trick for me the past two months. You can see examples of how I promote it at http://www.freeforex.net/blog/does-forex-trading-robots-really-work/

My dating site is slow but on the other hand I do not put any effort in it. I earned a hundred pounds on it so far. This is another example of “You must do something you love in order to make a success”. I have no clue how a dating site work or why people join it. I started it because it seems like a hot topic. But I am not in tune with it, so I neglect it. I am sure that if you are the dating site type you can make a killing from it. Read my post at

http://pietpetoors.com/blog/create-your-own-dating-web-site/ and see how you can start your own dating site almost for free.

Fax to email

Although small money this is a constant earner. If you do not have one yet, grab yourself a FREE fax to email number at http://www.faxsystem.co.za/

I know not everybody will be able to get their own web site where they can offer these free numbers but if you can get one, hang in there. Be patient, it takes time to show good results. You can also get your own fax to email web site and make money by giving away free fax numbers. Read all about it at http://www.thefaxmachine.co.za/

Property and shares

Due to the current financial state of the world, the interest rate and South African banks’ bad attitude towards home loans I did not buy any new properties this year yet. I know this is probably the best time to buy but now the banks made it almost impossible to do so with their more strict lending cireteria. I am not sure what they are trying to achieve with their destructive attitude.

I sold my shares before the big tumble and I am watching the market at the moment. I am not in a hurry to re-enter at this stage.

The not so good ones (for me)

Passive Incomes Magazine – As some of you might know I stopped promoting Passive Incomes Magazine. I also placed a notice on my web site. They stopped paying commission BUT they are still taking money from clients’ accounts (still did last month) and they still except new registrations. Even worse is that a subscriber in my downline wanted to cancel and they told him he cannot cancel because he has a 1 year contract. Thus they obviously holds the clients to their part of the contract while they do not keep their end of the deal. PLEASE NOTE: There is no link between my book web site

www.passive-income.co.za and the magazine’s web site www.passive-incomes.co.za. We are not affiliated at all. The closest relation between us is that I promoted their product at some stage.

BeeAWina is another disappointment. It had a lot of scope and potential. The guy who started it apparently sold his shares and resigned as director. Ever since we do not get any feedback. A point of concern is that the support number on the web site hardly ever get answered and if you leave a message it does not get returned. I asked for an update of what is going on in the business but has been waiting for a reply for some time now. I am not sure what is going on there, but surely hope they can sort it out.

LifeChanger – I still cannot figure this one out. Of all the South African MLM’s I have seen, this one has the most professional system in place. It is a wonderful concept and you can make stacks of money. But yet, it does not convert. Perhaps the monthly fee is too high, I do not know. Also management is not very involved. You hardly ever hear anything of the business and I guess it lacks some motivation from management’s side. This should be a prime program.

Network Marketing College – Another bummer. I just love the concept and I thought that beause it is a once off payment this should be a hit. But for me it was not. A buddy of mine in Durbs recons that he is having a great success with The Network Marketing College. He does not do it online, he is doing it on a one-on-one basis. Perhaps that is the secret. I am a bit disappointed with the company. One of the most crucial components in MLM is regular communication and support from the company’s side. This business’ main aim is to teach you how to be successful in MLM but they themselves ignore one of the basics. Since I joined I only heard from them once and that was when they launched TNMC2. I still think it is a good concept. My opinion is that people do not understand or trust the strange commission structure. The structure is widely used in International MLMs but it is still rather new in South Africa.

Ek het jou dvd gekoop en my blog gemaak. Net die geld wat ek gaan spaar op “hosting” gaan my baie help by die mense wat jy aanbeveel het. Ek betaal tans R99-00 per maand vir “hosting” by ‘n ander maatskappy. Dit kos my nou ongeveer R100-00 per jaar vir hierdie “hosting”. Ek sal dit waardeer as almal wat belangstel in jou dvd na my blog sal gaan kyk en raad gee oor waar ek dit kan verbeter.

Nou is dit vir die werk om die “posts” te “update”.

    Dankie

    Groete

Ek gebruik Vertical Response vir my “mail shots”.
Dankie, jy het my baie gehelp.
