REVIEW – PaidSurveyEtc.com
Many people ask whether certain programs are legit or not. I decided to do a test and reveal all to you so you know what it entails.
Read the review below to see if PaidSurvyesEtc is a scam or not:
I paid for and registered at PaidSurveysEtc (www.paidsurveysetc.com )
The main site do contain some sales jargon but not as much as I have seen on many other web sites, like the 50% discount. On 22 May it said that the offer will end three days after 22 May. When I revisit on 25 May it said the offer will end 3 days after 25 May. I bet you if you visit the web site next week again you will still get the 50% of.
On the positive note, I did get the 50% discount they promised and I only paid $34.00.
After I made the purchase I was directed to a page which said I must login to the members area. What I found strange was that the username and the password obviously was not a unique login for each client who bought the package. It is a generic login which anybody can use to log in to the members area.
When you log in you get a page with 5 so called bonuses:
- “Instant Cash Working At Home!!!” which takes you to http://www.roirocket.com/ Which is not available to South African traffic via the affiliate link PaidSurveysEtc provide.
- “The Free Ebay Success Kit” which takes you to the same site as above.
- “The Work At Home Authority” which takes you http://www.theworkathomeauthority.com/
- “Get $2,000+ in Free Grants” Which takes you to http://bargainscentralweb.com/ which is not available for South African traffic
- “Make Easy Money With Google™” which takes you to another affiliated site which is not available for South African traffic.
Thus the first thing you get is 5 places where you can BUY more information and on which PaidSurveysEtc will earn commission from your sale.
At the end of the page it says “You can get started with the training by clicking on the Home link on the top left of the webpage..”
So I did just that:
The main member site welcomes you and tells you that companies are conducting surveys to track the shopping habits of people. It also says that some companies have surveys you can do directly and others you must first register.
At Step 1 they suggest you get a free Yahoo email account since you do not want to use your own email address for this, I guess that is because you will be swamped with spam. They also suggest you get RoboForm to complete the forms on your behalf. http://www.roboform.com/
They also say
Some companies will have you take the survey right away, while others will have you register and then they will email you when they have one that matches your profile.
If you want to make a couple thousand dollars a month from Paid Surveys, then it’s best to register with all of the survey companies we have listed. It will take a bit of time up front, but once you’re done registering with all of them, then you can just sit back and cherry pick from your email the best survey offers to complete.
Now you get presented with a list of online survey web sites, to long to mention. There are about 185 links to survey web sites of which about 65 is for international users. The rest are mainly USA and Canada only and also some UK and Australia. Thus if an American buys the packages he will have access to about 185 survey sites, but if most other International users buys the packages they will only have access to a third of that.
You also get a list of “get paid to read emails” and “get paid to shop” links. These pages do not show the countries in which they are available. There are about 120 of each of these.
And that is all it is about.
Conclusion:
Is it a scam? - In all fairness I would say that you do get a lot of information for the money you paid for it if you only paid the “discounted” price of $34. If you paid the full price of $69 I would say it is a ripp-off.
BUT www.paidsurveysetc.com is not a survey web site. They only give you links to surveys sites. You can probably find all these web sites by yourself if you search the Internet. It will take yourself a lot of time to find all these sites and that is why I say the $34 you paid is fair because the owner of www.paidsurveysetc.com saves you a lot of time.
Visitors from outside the USA do not get the full value of what they paid for as they do not get access to the so called Bonuses.
Whether it works or not I can still not tell you. The only way I can tell is to register at some of the web sites mentioned in the list and test it myself. I will do this to at least 5 of those sites, so keep your eyes on the review pages.
Note: Rather look at http://pietpetoors.com/blog/surveybasket/

Have you hear about World of paid surveys? Its $25 to sign up and they have examples on their website of what the emails will look like.
hi pieter,
Does the survey site actually work. Did u receive any surveys?
No, did not receive anything, perhaps somebody else did, please let us know if you did.
What about “Opinionate”? I have just joined – they are free and seem to cater for South Africans. I have not received any surveys as yet. Anybody used them, and if you have, were they any good?
Jacqui, haven’t heard from it, but you can keep us updated if you find out something
@Melissa Thank you for the feedback Melissa. Much appreciated.
Hi, hope this helps
I have gotten a few surveys from GLOBAL TEST MARKET. Its free to sign up and the money isn’t bad. Especially if you are a South African. It took a while for me to finally get a survey. But they seem legit so far. You have to get 1000 market points in order to claim they money back. Which makes sense. The value of MarketPoints is fixed against the U.S. Dollar at five (5) cents per MarketPoint. I will be sure to let you know if I find out otherwise. But so far clean as a whistle. No problems from anyone I have spoken to.
Also here is a legit pay per click link: http://www.clixsense.com/?2598418
You get paid to view websites. Most of the websites are shocking. But its great advertising for some companies.
Its free to sign up. Unless you want Premium Membership. You can make quite a bit from referrals. Also you can use the money you make from the site to pay for your Premium Membership.
@Angelique Thank you for warning others about it Angelique. If that company are using Clickbank as payment processor and if you are still within your time limit, contact Clickbank about the refund.
I bought one of these online paid survey packages for $57, it is not supported for South Africa. I have tried and registered with all the sites that are available to SA and no success. This was suppose to be a 60 day trial and I have tried to get response from the webmaster, needless to say… no success. DO NOT BUY from http://www.paidsurveysystem.com if you are a SA citizen, it is a lot of money to loose in ZAR.
I completly agree,I have signed up with several international sites and still no surveys-They should’nt advertise that S.A is supported if it isn’t.I can understand that the opportunity is greater in other countries but they could atleast warn us.
