Blogging To The Bank Review
Would you like to make money online using a blog?
Blogging has been around for a few years now. Most people use blogs to record their thoughts and lives, while the select few use them as a free way to make a fortune.
I received and email from a friend inviting me to have a look at blogging to the bank. She wanted to know what I think of it and if I think it is for real.
My blogs are not earning me that kind of money yet, so I investigated.
I went to http://www.bloggingtothebank.com and this is what I found:
It is a nice professional looking web site with all the necessary sales pitches, prove of income etc. I did see that at the time of writing it had a Alexa ranking of 47,698 which means that it is a very busy web site.
It promises that a millionaire blogger will reveal how he makes $90,480 per month from blogging.
I must admit, I nether read the pages and pages of sales pitch nor am I attracted to the pictures of fancy houses and cars because nobody will know if it is for real anyway. To me the prove is in the product. My personal opinion is that the pictures of the house and cars are fake anyway. The guy also say that the first 100 people will get a bonus, either he did not sell many of his eBook or the bonus is there for everybody to take.
So I just skip the sales jargon and went for the buy button.
TIP: On web sites like these which contains all the sales pitch and bells and whistles, always close the window. Yes, that is correct. Close the browser window. 9 out of 10 times a window will pop up saying that somebody want to chat to you and offer you a discount. Make us of it. Don’t worry; you do not really have to chat to the person. In the box you will see a link you can click and you get an instant $10 discount. If such a message do not pop up just revisit the page.
So I made use of the discount, paid my dues and was taken to the download page.
This guy practice what we call “up-selling”. Nothing wrong with it, just a clever way of getting visitors to spend more. It is the same as what Woolies are doing with their clients. Have you ever wondered why there are rows of sweets on your way to the till in Woolies? We call this up-selling and this is the same this guy is doing.
You already purchased the eBook. Now to make things easier for yourself you can subscribe to a video series where you can watch him step by step creating a blog from scratch.
In order to keep the review short I decided not to opt for this offer. Now to find the link to continue without buying the video is real tricky. You have to scroll down all the way and right at the bottom of the page you will find the link you can click whould you not want to subscribe to the video series.
Now you finally get to the download page.
You get the link where you can download the eBook you bought.
Then you also get links to bonuses which include some ready made blogs, pre-written articles, and blog announcer software.
Then he offers you another so called bonus where you can get access to Blog Mastermind at a $1 trial
You then get some more bonuses like the original “Blogging to the bank” eBook, an update report, and two blogging techniques reports.
You are also presented with 4 more web sites where you can get free information:
Michael Rusmassen’s Mini Site Profits and also his email promos exposed site.
You also get to check out Google Assassin and Eric Rockefeller’s – The affiliate Conspiracy
Above mentioned 4 “bonus” sites are al sites where you can subscribe to “free” information in order to lure you into buying more products.
That is it for the download page.
Now let’s look at the content of this 58 page eBook we purchased.
I hope the author do not mind that I tell you what the book is about, but here are some of the subjects discussed in the book:
The 2 Big Changes In Big Money Blogging,
The 5 Blogging Commandments For 2009
- Market Research & Keyphrase Lists
- Domains & Hosting
- Creating Your Blog
- Optimizing Your Blog
- Content
- Promotion & Backlinks
- Advanced SEO Techniques
- Web 2.0 Strategies
- Outsourcing & Building Your Blog Empire
- Selling Your Blog
- Getting Your Blog Indexed Within 24 Hours
- How To Get Thousands Of Link For Free
- The Sneaky Theme Sponsor Trick
It would be unfair to the author to tell you exactly what this is about.
What I can tell you is that “Blogging to the Bank” has been an eye opener to me. I have learned many tricks which I will start to implement today. If you are new to blogging “Blogging to the Bank” is a must. It will save you a lot of time and money as you would not have to use the old trial and error techniques most of us so often use.
“Blogging to the Bank” shows you exactly how and where to setup a blog. From looking for niche keywords to build your blog around to setting up and maintaining your blog. It even shows you where to get content for your blog and what to do to drive traffic to the site.
In my opinion the book is not very user friendly for newbies. Although it does tell you exactly what to do it does not always show you where to get it. This will not be a problem to a more experience blogger because most of us know what the authors is talking about. But for instance he will tell you to enter your Adsense code to the blog. If you are an absolute novice you will not know what adsense is, where to get it and how to register. I know this book is about setting up a successful blog but I do feel that the author could put in a little bit more effort to give the reader more complete instructions.
“Blogging to the Bank” surely is a must for all new bloggers. Even the old hands might learn a thing or two.

Hi,it is my first time on your website so I hope I am doing this right. Nice review on blogging to the bank. I would like to get started i blogging but am specialy unsure about making payments over the internet specialy abroad. Can you maybe give some pointer what to watch out for when doing such transactions please?
Jan, I think Blogging to the bank uses ClickBank as payment processor and they are perfectly secure you can use them. I think as long as you it is some of the big names it should not be a problem. A web site will most of the time use a third party payment processor like ClickBank, PayPal, 2Checkout, Setcom, MonsterPay or so to process their payments. In my view they are all save to use, I have not had any problems with them yet.
